El Raval is a dynamic neighborhood that offers avant-garde exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona (MACBA) and the adjacent Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona (CCCB). Bohemian bars, the latest design stores and street art flood the surrounding area. Seafood, wine and tapas are sold at La Boquería market, located on Las Ramblas. Informal coffee shops follow each other on the Rambla del Raval. The Maritime Museum exhibits replicas of boats in medieval shipyards. The Raval also has some conflict zones that should be avoided.
